About Me

Welcome to Piccacoveruk

Piccacoveruk is a UK-based store specialising in handmade items, gifts and accessories for the chronically ill — created with care, quality, and personal understanding at its heart.

How It All Began

In 2018, I made a set of arm covers for a close friend who had a permanent PICC line fitted. At the same time, I found myself taking time away from my career as an ice skating costume designer and maker, following treatment for skin cancer. During that period of recovery, I channelled my expertise in working with spandex fabrics into creating a range of comfortable, stylish arm covers for people living with PICC lines.

Eight Years On

What started as a labour of love has grown into a full range of products. I have expanded into new fabric ranges including lace, and I am now launching a sublimation-printed range for children — designed, printed, and handmade entirely by me.

Alongside the arm covers, Piccacoveruk now offers:

  • Hypoallergenic printed tapes for those with feeding tubes, oxygen cannulas, PICC lines and Hickman lines
  • Diabetes CGM, wrist and forearm covers — versatile enough to also cover and disguise subcut lines, fistulas and tattoos
  • Post-operative care products
  • A robust range of mobility aids
  • Accessories for the Tubie Community

My Mission

Piccacoveruk was born with a simple aim: to provide excellent quality, cost-effective solutions for people living with chronic illness and disabilities. My goal is to keep expanding the range to further support my customers on their health journeys.

A Personal Note

In 2021, I also lost my beloved husband to lung cancer. His journey, and the journeys of so many people I have met through Piccacoveruk, continues to drive my passion for creating products that make life a little easier and brighter for those facing serious illness.
